Avigilon Expands North American and Latin American Sales Teams

Latest additions to Avigilon’s global sales force will help meet growing customer demand for Avigilon’s High Definition Surveillance solutions

Vancouver, Canada – July 22, 2011 – Avigilon, the performance and value leader in high definition (HD) and megapixel video surveillance solutions, today announced the appointment of four new sales executives to address the growing demand for the company’s award-winning HD surveillance solution in North America and Latin America.

“With an increased focus on security and compliance, demand for Avigilon’s innovative highdefinition surveillance solution continues to grow,” said Bryan Schmode, vice-president of global sales, at Avigilon. “The appointment of these experienced sales executives will enable us to further serve the needs of our existing customers and expand our presence in key regions across North America and Latin America to reach new customers.”

Mark Baxter, Director of Sales, Midwest United States
Mark is responsible for expanding Avigilon’s sales and managing existing accounts in Iowa, Kansas, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, and South Dakota. Prior to joining Avigilon, Mark was Western Regional Sales Manager for Intransa, Inc. He has also held senior sales positions at Bosch Security Systems, Electronic Technologies Corporation, and Honeywell Security.

Alejandrina Brito Figueroa, Director of Sales, Latin America
Based in Mexico City, Alejandrina is responsible for expanding Avigilon’s sales and managing existing accounts in Latin America. Alejandrina comes to Avigilon from IndigoVision where she served as Regional Sales Manager. Prior to IndigoVision, Alejandrina was Regional Sales Manager for Mexico for Verint Systems.

Will Brock, Director of Sales, Southeast United States
Will is responsible for expanding Avigilon’s sales and managing existing accounts in Alabama, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Tennessee. Will joins Avigilon from 1Volt Associates, a leading manufacturers’ representative firm, where he served as Business Development Manager. He has also held senior sales positions at Bosch, Hirsch, and Loronix.

Rob Crane, Director of Sales, Northeast United States
Rob is responsible for expanding Avigilon’s sales and managing existing accounts in Connecticut, eastern Pennsylvania, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Rhode Island, and Vermont. Prior to Avigilon, Rob was Northeast Regional Sales Manager at Pivot3, Inc. He also served as a Director of Sales at Broadware and as a Regional Sales Manager for NICE.
